To facilitate smooth scheduling and potentially accommodate other clients, we kindly request that clients notify us of any cancellations or rescheduling requests at least 45 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment time.

Unforeseen circumstances can arise, and we will make every effort to work with our clients to accommodate changes in their schedules. However, we urge our clients provide as much notice as possible in the event that they need to cancel or reschedule their appointment. This allows us to provide the best possible service to all of our clients and ensure that we can continue to provide everyone with high-quality mobile notary services.

At The Notary Doula, we prioritize transparency and effective communication in the provision of notary services. To ensure that our clients are aware of our policies and fees, we require all payments to be made in full before a mobile notary appointment can be scheduled.

Additionally, we are committed to providing prompt and reliable service to our clients. However, ***if a notary is in transit or arrives at the signing location and the signing is unable to occur for any reason, no refunds will be issued. It is essential to understand that by proceeding with payment, clients confirm that they have read and agreed to our fees and terms of service.

***The Notary Doula, reserves the right to refuse service:

If the Signer listed on the document is not present -
No valid government issued identification -
The requesting document has been altered -
Signer is unwilling or being coerced to sign document to be notarized -
The Signer appears to be drunk, sedated, or disoriented or the Signer has been adjudicated mentally incapacitated and has not been restored to capacity as a matter of record -
The Signer does not speak English && no one is available to translate the document to a common language -
If there is a suspicion the transaction is deceptive -
The Signer request to certify a copy of a "vital recordable record " -
